I've been out of touch and will be for awhile. We have a 3-year old great-granddaughter visiting. She is busy charming SWMBO and various aunts and great aunts, and me too, or alternately running us ragged.
For all here Merry Christmas or whatever your midwinter celebration is. May your New Year bring you happiness, health, and prosperity.
But regardless of the season I have turned into a grinch as I'm calling for the coming year to bring both KJ-u and the Moron dual implosions, and to spend eternity gorging on each others' fecal showers. May their genes be filtered from the pool and turned into dust. May their enablers and accomplices be cursed with boils, pestilence, flies, lice, and darkness.
Or, in the words of Deuteronomy:

You will become a thing of horror and an object of scorn and ridicule to all the nations where the LORD will drive you.
You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little, because locusts will devour it.
You will plant vineyards and cultivate them but you will not drink the wine or gather the grapes, because worms will eat them.
You will have olive trees throughout your country but you will not use the oil, because the olives will drop off.
You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity.
Swarms of locusts will take over all your trees and the crops of your land.
The alien who lives among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower.
He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, but you will be the tail.
All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed."
One thing you can say for the old days; they knew how to curse.
As I said in the post that followed...to me this year feels like what I imagine the December of 1860 must have felt like. The country is roiled and angry, this time the Chief Executive is also a Republican but in the mold of the New Republicans - meaning more like a Confederate - then the "Black Republicans" of Lincoln. The fear and anger is not that this man will free slaves but, rather, will lock people up; his enemies, the lugenpresse, immigrants, browns and blacks and...well, anyone and everyone but his cultists.
