On Election Day, I sat with David, a Dirt Sailor from the Vietnam War, who is very active in the VFW, and Colette, who joined the Navy to see the world but never got out of the country, who joined because her high school friend said she would, but didn't. We manned the polling station south of town from 6 AM to 7 PM and finished up at 930 PM at the CourtHouse. An interesting pair and good conversation.
