The Meaning of Imminent, Update
As was discussed six months ago here in the Pub, apparently the meaning of imminent is not nearly as imminent as some people thought it was. Well, better late than never I suppose.

ReplyDeleteWe are a society where a fair number of citizens hold fast to the notion that the immediate killing of a fellow citizen for the mere crime of illegal entry or a purse snatching is fully justified. Are "targeted assassinations" of an alleged "enemy" much of a stretch?
Long ago, I came to the conclusion that there are much more fundamental issues involved.
